Plan with the details in view
The annual-report system began in 2025; the first filing year depends on when the company registered.
Pennsylvania’s fee schedule lists $125 for a domestic LLC Certificate of Organization and $250 for foreign LLC registration. Confirm the company route and separate FormLLC costs before choosing the filing.
Domestic and foreign LLC reports use the January 1–September 30 window. The first annual report is due the year after formation or initial foreign registration. Use the entity number and current information for the report year.
An ordinary for-profit report costs $7. The state lists $0 for an LLC with a not-for-profit purpose. Restricted professional companies may also have a separate Annual Registration; that is not the same filing as the annual report.
How to continue
Preparing the filing comes down to four steps, from your first details to a confirmed filing.
Tell FormLLC whether you are creating a Pennsylvania LLC or registering a company formed elsewhere.
Organize the proposed details or existing entity number, registered office and principal office information.
Use the formation or foreign registration year, current company status and prior confirmations to identify what is due.
Prepare the relevant governor and principal-officer details, confirm the filing scope and charges, then keep the accepted annual report.

Know which filing you need
The annual report remains required while the 2027 enforcement transition is in place.
Keep the registered office current. A missed reminder does not remove reporting duties, and the report does not replace applicable tax returns or operating permissions.
Questions answered
Share the proposed company and setup request. FormLLC will confirm the accepted formation or registration support, required details and separate government and service charges.
No. The Department of State says the first annual report is due the following year after formation or initial foreign registration.
The LLC filing window is January 1 through September 30. Other association types have different deadlines, so use the LLC category and correct reporting year.
No. Restricted professional LLCs may have a separate Annual Registration requirement and fee. Do not assume the ordinary $7 annual report replaces that professional-company filing.
Annual reports are required during the transition. The state says administrative dissolution or termination for failure to report begins with reports due in 2027, with action six months after the deadline. Review the actual status instead of assuming an earlier missed report already dissolved the company.
No. The state says failure to receive its notice does not remove the filing obligation. Keep the registered office current and use the actual entity record to check the reporting year.
