When does a partnership become active?
Eligibility, approved channels, territories and permitted activities depend on the executed partner scope. An application or conversation does not itself activate a program or replace an agreement.
Confirm the partner entity, authorized contact, intended audience and service model. Technology integrations or expanded access need their own documented scope.
Which claims and brand uses are allowed?
Do not imply government affiliation, guaranteed agency approval, guaranteed bank access, professional advice or unsupported savings. Describe the actual accepted service and keep government charges separate from service fees.
Confirm permitted brand materials and proposed promotional claims under the agreement. Do not present an independent agency’s decision as something a referral partner can control.
How should customer information be handled?
Introduce a customer with appropriate consent and only the information needed for the agreed handoff. Do not put passports, tax identifiers, payment credentials or protected business records in ordinary referral messages.
Use the assigned intake or transfer route when protected information is actually required. A referral does not give a partner unrestricted access to a customer’s account or documents.
Who handles customer-facing responsibilities?
The executed scope must identify who handles sales, intake, authorized work, billing, service updates, complaints and escalations. Do not assume FormLLC or the partner handles every part of the customer relationship.
Confirm the handoff contact and explain the next step to the customer without promising an agency timeline or third-party result.
How is compensation decided?
Eligibility, attribution, qualification, payment timing, refunds, cancellations, reversals, fraud checks and tax responsibilities are governed by the executed program terms. This page does not set a commission rate, automatic entitlement or payment date.
Promotion should disclose a material commercial connection where required. FTC guidance provides general disclosure examples; it does not replace review of the actual promotion and applicable rules.
Program changes, suspension and questions
Check the applicable agreement for brand permissions, data responsibilities, program changes, suspension and termination. Do not treat this overview as a replacement for the terms accepted by the parties.
