Your next step in West Virginia
New formation, foreign registration and annual reporting are different requests.
Prepare domestic organization and initial details.
Explore LLC formationReview the route for an LLC formed elsewhere.
Review foreign qualificationCheck the report year and June 30 receipt cutoff.
Explore report supportConfirm the company route, current status and separate filing, online-processing or service charges.
Plan with the details in view
Use the correct report year, June 30 cutoff and filing method.
The statutory base fee for domestic LLC Articles of Organization is $100. Confirm the actual company route and any applicable exception before estimating costs. An LLC formed elsewhere needs the appropriate registration process.
The SOS requires annual reports for active LLCs formed on or before December 31 of the previous year that have not terminated or withdrawn. Its fee guidance lists $25 if received by June 30, plus $1 for online processing.
After June 30, the SOS lists $75, which includes the $50 late fee. The $1 online processing charge is additional. Do not count $75 as another penalty on top of the normal report charge.
How to continue
Preparing the filing comes down to four steps, from your first details to a confirmed filing.
Tell FormLLC whether you need domestic organization, foreign registration or the next report for an active LLC.
Organize office addresses, agent-of-process information and authorized member or manager details.
Bring the company record, formation year and any previous report confirmation or delinquency notice.
Separate the applicable report or late total, online charge and accepted FormLLC support, then keep the confirmation.
Before requesting help
Have these details ready before you ask us to help with the filing.
Know which filing you need
A report receipt cutoff and an administrative-status issue require different checks.
Keep the accepted report and any separate company updates with the business records. An annual report is not a tax return.
